MA Show 2019
Emma Clare Bennett is featuring in the
Plymouth College of Art, MA Show
Question: How can phenomenological analysis present new meanings of bodily experiences in a material landscape, exploring the relationship of temporality and landscape through painting?
Emma Clare Bennett’s creative process is informed by a bodily experience in place, gathering material and experiential information of the places she passes through and using this as a method for painting. Emma experiments with site specific materials as a medium. This introduces a new and highly specific relationship to place, asserted in which the concepts of experience become materialised through the transformation of the materials from the Cornish Landscape.
The show is then open to the public from 7 - 12 September 2019 (free and open to all).
